This is a Pre-K to K lesson about bees and how they help our food grow by pollinating plants. The lesson includes Keynote slides identifying bees from other insects, repetition of the word pollination, a video of the author with backyard bees, and a worksheet assessment.Students will learn how to spot a bee vs other flying insects, what pollination means, what a beehive looks like, and will see bees pollinating flowers and carrying pollen to their hive.

This lesson plan was created for a lesson on the different diseases and disorders associated with a sedintary lifestyle. The lesson is designed for a fitness for life class (10th grade PE). This is a fun project to help students learn about diseases and disorders while showing their creative abilities.

This lesson plan is to help students create a podcast about a person or event during the Great Depression to build upon background and indepth knowledge. This is meant to be a final project or assesment to the Standard about Great Depression. 

After reading The Giver by Lowis Lowry, students will analyze the text and create a thematic statement for the novel. They will use imovie to create a video teaching how to find the thematice statement and what theme they came up with for The Giver. 

This lesson uses iMovie and Pages to solidify student understanding of math problem-solving. It is tied to problem solve at a 2nd-grade level or higher for kids with learning deficits, specifically designed to help students who have IEP goals related to math word problems and solving math problems related to the four basic arithmetic operation.

In this group project, you will create a video that teaches the class how to multiply matrices.  You will be using iMovie to edit your video.  You should spend 2-3 hours on this project and it will be done face-to-face.  This project is intended for a 9th-grade Secondary Math 1 Honors class.

This lesson is about Reform Movements in US History, what led to them, and the outcome of their fight for reform. It includes Women's Suffrage, The Progressive Movement, The Rise of the Temperance Movement, and the 1800s-1920s.This lesson will be presented in a primarily synchronous, face-to-face manner. This is a 5 day unit about validating sources on the internet and social media.  It is taught so that students understand and respect the obligations of using social media wisely before sharing and the importance of giving credit to creators through citing sources.  It is a blended unit with a final project to be done in Apple's Keynote where students will show what they have learned in a slide show to other students in the class. This lesson is to help students review solving two-step equations with integers. Students will create a review sheet or presentation to help them remember the different ways to solve the four types of two-step equations. This should take about 1-2 class periods, as it is a review. Students can complete this assignment synchronous together in a classroom, asynchronous on their own time as long as they have the Mac Applications needed. This is made for my 7th-grade math class using the standard:Standard 7.EE.4: Use variables to represent quantities in a real-world or mathematical problem, and construct simple equations and inequalities to solve problems by reasoning about the quantities.a. Solve word problems leading to equations of the form px+q=rand p(x+q)=r, where p, q, and rare specific rational numbers. Solve equations of these forms fluently.
