Rob Bentley demonstrates how teachers and students can create digital content such as narrated slideshows, webpages and animated characters using Adobe Creative Tools. Creations can then be shared through Canvas or Google Classroom.

This resource is a lesson plan about identifying the role of people in the school (principal, librarian, secretary, custodian, bus driver, crossing guard, etc.) It includes a "Guess Who" gameshow Google Slides presentation, a document where students will take notes when conducting school worker interviews, and a school workers Google Slides presentation. Students will review the parts of a plant and what a plant needs to grow. Then students will plan and execute an experiement to see the effects of EITHER sunlight or water on the growth of plants by planting 2 seeds and watching their growth. The Utah Core Standard that this lesson incorporates is the College and Career Awareness Core (Strand 4, Standard 2). The goal of this lesson is to teach various self-care skills, have students demonstrate their practice of self-care through taking pictures and creating an Adobe Express poster of at least two images (two activites). This lesson takes approximately 45 minutes and is best taught face-to-face. Students will submit their digital posters via Canvas. This lesson is designed for first grade students. Students will create videos using Adobe Spark to demonstrate their understanding of long and short vowel sounds. 

Students will learn about the Spanish-speaking countries and their capitals. They will also choose one of those countries and find pictures that represent some of the culture found there. A fun way to get students to do research on one of the 50 states and make an Adobe Express Presentation to share with their peers.

This lesson plan is intended for 1st grade students. It is a project type lesson for writing a personal narrative about what they did over the summer using Adobe Spark to create a digital story. 

This one week lesson plan outlines daily activities for a lesson using Adobe Spark to create a final digital telling of student's narrative stories they wrote in class. This lesson adds a technical element to the overall lesson and works as an assessment of storytelling digitally and otherwise. 

This is a lesson plan to have students write a narrative story about a time they were injured. They will then create a digital story from that paper using Adobe Spark.  They will have five slides, five voice overs, and music to the slides.

In this lesson, students will research ways where transformations are used in their everyday life. Students will create a Photo Book using Adobe Express to present what they've found.The thumbnail image is an original image.

Adobe’s Creative Cloud, now available to all Utah teachers & students, can be an intimidating suite for those new to it. Being able to not only navigate the Creative Cloud and its connected programs but also understand which programs can help teachers learn the Adobe Suite while still finding value for their classroom. Starting with using Creative Cloud and navigating the suite, teachers will learn which programs are best for beginners, and how to navigate through the basics of Lightroom, Indesign, and Illustrator. Also, teachers will learn some basic ideas for creating creative projects with their students or for their classrooms including poster design, photo editing/manipulation, and creating a logo.
