What I really like about this activity is that love teaching about Mandalas. What I learned just recently, is that the Navajo creates sand Mandalas as well. I would love to see some of your student's work too. I love to see a variety of uses.
Something I wonder about this resource is if I can apply the Navajo concept to this lesson.

I actually really love this project idea and the resources that were attached. I am surprised it has not gotten more views for those who are teaching Photoshop and Photography! I would definitely end up modifying the assignment and teaching the demonstration in person-- but it was helpful to me as a teacher to learn how he teaches the mandala project.
This revised version is more complete with standard alignment and providing/fixing links to external sources.
