In this lesson, students will practice using preterite tense to narrate in the past by describing the craziest day of their life. Students will tell their story on Adobe Spark Video.

Multimedia songs are a great way to support vocabulary recall for your students.  See the attachment for an example.

In this French lesson, students will go on virtual reality field trips to different places across Senegal to discover its nature and to see potential camping areas. They will talk about how they might camp in Senegal and invent a camping story with their partner that they will present to the class. They will also reflect on the similarities differences they perceive between France and Senegal. They will engage their social and emotional skills by improving their self-confidence, learning to appreciate diversity, and communicating with others.

This nearpod introduces and has the students study family vocabulary in Spanish. It also goes over the verb "vivir" and using it to describe where and with whom "I live." This is typically given towards the end of a Spanish 1 year or towards the beginning of Spanish 2 so students should have a considerable amount of prior knowledge.

In this social studies skill builder, students will learn about the life and death of Anne Frank. Students will be able to recognize what it means to empathize with the experience of others after reading about Anne Frank's life. This skill builder is most appropriate for students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. It is estimated this lesson will take about 15-25 minutes to complete. Through virtual field trips, class collaboration, and independent practice, students use reading comprehension and observation skills to learn about Anne Frank and her family's life before and during World War II. They will also learn about the trials and hardships the Jewish people faced and the importance of empathizing with others.

In this French lesson, students will watch a video about ordering in a bakery and explore a French restaurant to invent a dialogue in which they order food. They will witness a widespread cultural practice of France.
