In response to this need, public libraries provided free, short-term, in-home internet access by lending Wi-Fi hotspots to individuals without home internet. Additionally, USBE launched a grant program to create solutions to enable and extend home broadband access. We’d also like to congratulate Liz Gabbitas, who was just appointed by the Utah State Library Division to be the Digital Access and Education Coordinator for Utah.
