This lesson plan is designed for 8th grade students as an end of basketball skill unit project. Students will get to choose from a list of basketball skills that they wish to demonstrate. They will have to teach this skill as if they are teaching to someone who has never watched basketball before.

This lesson plan is designed to teach students to throughly think through the skill sets required for basketball. It will test their understanding of the basketball unit and the skills taught. They will do this by creating an Adobe Express Project using multiple different photos. This is a unit plan for elementary physical education and teaches basketball fundamentals to the 3rd, 4th, and 5th classes at my schools. The lessons focus on dribbling, passing, and shooting in basketball. Each lesson has dynamic stretching as a warm-up, two basketball activities, and a health-related activity.
