This resource is a Social Studies student activity that utilizes Utah's Online Library resources - specifically, Soundzabound to help students learn about the Birth of the Baby Boomers.

Using the technologies of Google Slides and Soundzabound through Utah's Online Library, students have the opportunity to intertwine these resources together to create a digital storyboard. The story is based on their own lives and takes them through the past, present, and future; where they came from, where and what are they doing currently, and who they want to be when they're older. Each phase will be completed through Google Slides and presented to the intructor.

A study of "Symbols of America" for Kindergarten focusing on the US Flag, White House, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, Liberty Bell, Statue of Liberty, and the bald eagle. This lesson can be completed in one day or extended over a week or two.

UEN has created mini lessons for students. These lesson will teach students how to use the resources in Utah's Online Library. These are all self-paced lessons that are less than 60 minutes in length. These are great for teachers who want to import them into their Canvas course. They can also be used as a substitute teacher lesson plan.
