On this episode of PDTV, our production team steps in front of the camera to go through the top 10 tips for creating pro-quality videos. Katie, Fernando and Nicole share examples and recommendations for each tip to give additional guidance to those less familiar with video production.

In this activity, students will choose a math topic that they have learned about in the year and plan and film a video about using that topic in a real life way. For example a student could choose fractions and make a video about using a recipe. Students will present their film as part of the assessment.

This lesson plan is for a short unit on making promotional films for elective classes to recruit students and to help students build their multimedia presentation skills as well as digital media literacy.
