This resourch will help your students to practice use with Culture Grams in the Utah Online Library. This will help them build a foundation of what they need to have to use the resource effectively through completing a variety of tasks. 

Students will distinguish between what constitutes culture and what makes up personal individuality. This activity invites students to identify aspects of culture that influence our own behavior and sometimes make it difficult to understand the behavior of other people. Culture is a complex idea, and teachers should be prepared to offer students many examples of cultural features.

This is the first step in a series of lessons that would ultimately lead to the creation of a travel guide video.  Students will be researching a country's dominant culture using the Utah Online School Libraries' access to CultureGrams.Image from Pixabay, accessed 2/18/2022.
