Utilizing their school-issued iPad or personal phone, students will capture their own images to represent literary elements from their personal reading book. This lesson plan is for ninth grade language arts class.  It includes writing and critical thinking skills.  It connects students to the humanities and encourages them to use different types of texts.  Digital media will be included.

Students will pull information from a research article, write the most important and/or interesting facts on several note cards, and create a visual representation (infographic) of the selected important points of their research.
