This is a writing unit on animal adaptations. Students will need to be expert researchers and will be able to dip their toes into the wonderful world of EBSCO! They will research the animal assigned to them using various graphic organizers and research questions to help guide their thinking. Once research is complete, they will fill out the OREO graphic organizer with an introduction, 3 facts with details, and a conclusion. This blended learning lesson plan is a hyperdoc that students can work through individually to learn what a prefix is, practice identifying prefixess in words, understand the meaning and how it changes the word to mean something new. Students will work through this hyperdoc with required assignments/ tasks, these include instruction through videos and practice. The rest of the hyperdoc students can pick and choose what they want to do with a required limit of acitivites.
