It can be comforting to keep mementos that remind you of special people, places, or experiences. A memento box is a perfect place to keep things that are important to you and your family. Get creative and decorate it however you want!
Download this activity sheet to create a special way to remember your person who died. In the center of the flower place a photo, draw a picture or write the name of your person who died. In each of the flower petals, write something special about the person or a memory you have.
This is a lesson plan to help teach students how to create a digital story using the ipad app "Story Creator" The students will watch some examples of differnt digital stories other students have created. Next, students will use previously learned information on animals and their habitats to fill out a storyboard that will help guide them to creating a digital story. Students will draw pictures and write text to accompany these pictures. The lesson will end with students presenting about their animal they chose and its habitat through means of a digital story.

This is a Lesson Plan discussing Social Media and how makes one feel created by Common Sense Education that I have incorporated into a lesson for my 10th grade resource students. This lesson is to teach students about different apps they can use to create their digital stories based upon the script that they wrote. In this lesson, they will explore different video-making apps and begin to create their video using their script and storyboards.
This lesson plan was created for middle school or high school special educators to use for their peer tutors. But planning out what you would do under extremely trying circumstances, even though they are rare, is also important. To do this, develop a framework using your Emergency Self-Care worksheet before you are faced with a crisis or feel overwhelmed. This is not to suggest that you will invariably face such a situation; the idea is to be prepared just in case.
