Students will go through the writing process to create a video that shows a multistep word problem.

Lesson Description: Students will learn about facts/opinions and claims/reasoning. Students will complete two nearpods and a prewriting assignment. Students will read a sample essay and will collaborate to think critically about facts and opinions. This is a brief lesson plan for the writing process using an end of year presentation project about making summer plans. Students will need access to a device. 

In this lesson, students will create two digital projects using a book of their choice, which will then lead to a digital Book Talk to persuade other students to read their book. This lesson is a fun way for students to think and "talk" about books! The lesson includes multiple digiatl platforms for Mac computers that are sure to spark student engagement, while also encouraging a love of reading.
