Students will use the knowledge they learned about 2d shapes to create a short video using iMovie. Students will be grouped together and will take photos of items in the classroom that resemble 2d shapes. Each video must have labels indicating how many sides their shapes have, name of the shape and how many verticies their shape has.

eMedia is a digital library of educational resources created specifically for Utah educators. It is a collection of state-licensed and open educational resources -- from videos and images, to lesson plans and activities, to textbooks and full courses. In eMedia, you can explore materials cerated by others, create, remix, and share your own resources, and collaborate with educators across the state in the eMedia online community.

UEN has created mini lessons for students. These lesson will teach students how to use the resources in Utah's Online Library. These are all self-paced lessons that are less than 60 minutes in length. These are great for teachers who want to import them into their Canvas course. They can also be used as a substitute teacher lesson plan.

These lessons are available in Canvas Commons under the UEN-K12 consortium. You will find this consortium under Canvas Commons using the Filter UEN-K12. Once you have selected the UEN-K12 consortium search for "uen library lesson".
