The We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution Program promotes civic competence and responsibility among the nation’s upper elementary and secondary students. This webpage provides a description of the program.

This lesson will help students to "identify the roles that people have in the school and explain the importance of each member" (2nd Grade Social Studies S2.O2a). After instruction on several different school workers, students will work in groups to take photos that respresent three of the roles of a chosen school worker.
