Students will select four characters from familiar books and determine if they have healthy or unhealthy characteristics. They will use graphs to show information about which book characters are voted as the best friend.
These four activities will provide students opportunities to enhance friendships.
This lesson is to help students understand what a good friend is and use Google Slides to interpret and show their learning. It incorprates SEL lesson of good friends and google slides learning.

Child(ren) will read the book Khalil and Mr. Hagerty with an adult for the first time. Story will be re-read several times during the week.This story is about a house that has been separated into an upstairs and downstairs apartment. A young boy named Khalil and and older gentleman, Mr. Hagerty, form a friendship throughout the story. Together they share ideas, time, and thoughts.
