Activities help students learn to keep a journal.
Children will practice friendship skills as they join activities or invite others to join them in their play.
Children will help create some rules to feel safe in their environment. Children will be able to recognize and state rules they helped create.
We are obligated to provide enrichment opportunities and to appropriately challenge and engage these students. How do we find and monitor science enrichment activities for those students simultaneous to providing additional intervention and assistance to students who have yet to master the current concepts?
This lesson explores what qualities make a good friend. This is a way to help students become aware of positive and inappropriate behaviors.
Child(ren) will decorate a person that resembles themselves; practice and learn their phone number, address, age and birthdate.
This is a video that helps teach students with special needs, or students that struggle with social skills, appropriate responses when interacting with peers. Both positive and negative examples are given to show cause and effect. This resource helps reinforce positive social skills and can help students engage more appropriately with their peers.
After showing students this video, you can have them practice different scenarios, that will help them generalize appropriate social skills in their environment.
