Fisher, PhD (University of Utah). The series encompasses the political, cultural, historical and sociological geography of the state of Utah. It describes the activities, the land and the people. Much of the video material was videotaped on location throughout the state of Utah, giving the student and interested viewer valuable field trip experiences.

Students will practice their design and creativity skills with this project. They will need to make a promotion or advertisement for their favorite team or band/singer. They are in charge of creating a new poster using Pages or a 30-60 second promotional video using iMovie.The purpose of this assignment is to show that they know and understand design principles and can apply them to make an attractive and relevant promotion. The collection includes over 190 postcards illustrating Utah's main streets, buildings, and unique sites over the years. Subjects range from early rodeo events in Cedar City to the changing face of the Salt Palace.
