This resource is a Science student activity that utilizes Utah's Online Library resources - specifically, World Book Encyclopedia, Gale's Kids InfoBits, and InfoTrac Junior Edition - to help students learn about Utah animals. 

This is a lesson plan designed to guide kindergarten students through a  research activity about what animals eat. Students research an animal of their choice, then assemble a presentation using Google Slides to share their research with the class.Thumbnail image created by Kimberly Jerman.

This Science student activity utilizes Utah's Online Library resources - specifically, Gale in Context Science - to help students learn about planets and the specifications that designate a heavenly body as a planet. 

This lesson plan was created as a blended learning lesson about weather. This lesson aligns with the Kindergarten SEED standard 1.1. This lesson helps students understand weather types and how to graph the weather they seen. Students will use a print out graph to record the weather over a period of time. Standard K.1.1Obtain, evaluate, and communicate information about local, observable weather conditions to describe patterns over time.
