This is a lesson plan that will help educators teach Kindergarten students about 2D and 3D shapes, how to identify, sort them and design their own using marshmallows and toothpicks. This is a photo scavenger hunt activity/lesson to review and assess knowledge of three-dimensional shapes. Students will demonstrate the ability to identify, analyze, compare and sort (spheres, cones, cylinders and cubes), by taking pictures of 3D objects found around the classroom and making a collage.
