    Large Movements - Dance

    Large Movements - Dance

    Overview

Children will listen to music and dance to the beat of that music using large coordinated movements of isolated body parts.  An adult or peer will be holding up cards to demonstrate what body part to move.

    Summary

Children will listen to music and dance to the beat of that music using large coordinated movements of isolated body parts.  An adult or peer will be holding up cards to demonstrate what body part to move.  Once your child(ren) have had a chance to practice, provide an audience to dance for.

    Background for Teachers/Parents

Some children may be shy at first and may feel more comfortable when a model is provided for them to copy.
