I was trying to find a read aloud video of this book in this lesson plan. I couldn't, so I found one on Youtube.

There was some great background information and resources to access before reading this book to students. I also like that there is an extension activity for students who want to learn more about this subject.

I am so excited to come across this resource and book! I haven't heard of this book, and just ordered it off Amazon. Thanks for sharing! I know the kids will love it. It's always fun to use picture books to teach a lesson. I also love that the kids will be learning some Utah history. I will use it this year in November.

This is a fun and great resource about Thanksgiving. It incorporates both reading and History with a fun activity! Students also love learning about the different outlaws in Utah. It also is includes the State Standard for Library Media! This is a really great resource.
