Teacher Mentor PLC

Hello All! 

I wanted to reach out and apologize for being absent this year so far. I have been working on a project that I think you will all be excited about. But, first things first. How are you doing? Have you had a successful first quarter and enjoyed a restful and relaxing fall break? It is so nice that the weather has started to cool and we have been able to enjoy the beautiful fall colors in the mountains.  

USBE has been working hard for teacher mentors this year. We have been creating resources, meeting with coordinators, and building a new online PLC platform. We are excited to share all of these with you. 

Monthly Mentoring Mondays: This monthly virtual meeting was designed to provide a designated time for teacher mentors and mentoring coordinators to meet with the state mentoring specialist and other mentors to connect, highlight exciting things happening with mentoring, share resources, discuss mentoring roles, and ask questions about best practices. Our next meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 28th and we hope you will join us. The meeting will begin at 3:30 and go until 4:30. Coming Soon: The Mentoring Community of Practice Canvas course is set to launch at the beginning of next month. This will be a secure place for mentors and mentoring coordinators to view and share resources, engage in discussions, and ultimately build a community of practice focused on best practices in mentoring. We are so excited to shift to this new platform and feel it will better provide access to our Teacher Mentor PLC. Watch for more details, coming soon!
