    Overview

    Children will talk about themselves and how they have changed over time.  Talk about what a child is able to typically do at age 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. Discuss changes they have seen in themselves and things that they have learned to do over the years (movement, walking, talking, learning different things, etc.)  

    Summary

    Children will talk about themselves and how they have changed over time.  Talk about what a child is able to typically do at age 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. Discuss changes they have seen in themselves and things that they have learned to do over the years (movement, walking, talking, learning different things, etc.)  

    You can track changes in their height.

    You can create a picture book for them to reflect on the changes they see within themselves.

    Prepare yourself to talk about different milestones that doctors, parents, and teachers watch for over time. You can watch this video to think about different milestones you can discuss with your child. 

    Intended Learning Outcomes

    Children will give an example of one item they know that has changed about themselves over time.
