    Overview

    Children will develop large muscle groups and use materials to help develop eye/hand coordination.

    Summary

    Children will develop large muscle groups and use materials to help develop eye/hand coordination.

    Ideas could include: 

    • Using a club to move a ball across the length of a board
    • Using a bat or club to knock a ball off a tee
    • Kicking a ball into a net
    • Throwing a ball at a target
    • Rolling a ball to a friend sitting 5 feet away
    • Set up objects to climb up, crawl under, jump over
    • Push a large ball to the nearest tree

    Materials

    Any objects you choose to provide for the above mentioned activities.

    Background for Teachers/Parents

    Playing with and modeling proper use of objects may be helpful. 

    Intended Learning Outcomes

    Children will use an object for large motor movement.
