- This is a lesson on addition with regrouping to help students master this skill. The students will use base ten blocks and play a game by drawing cards and adding that many cubes to their base ten blocks. The student that reaches 100 first will win.

This looks like a really fun and engaging game. I really like that once students are playing the game they are continuing to add numbers together to see who gets to 100 first. This really allows them the opportunity to continually be practicing regrouping while playing. I like that they are allowed to use the base ten blocks to help them have hands-on help. I'm excited to try this out this next school year!
